Welcome to our new segment called "VOICES ACROSS THE WEB."  In this segment, we ask one simple question and then present it to up to seven preselected individuals.  They may be poets, spoken word artists, musicians, singers, visual artists, or just a "regular" person.  Whatever the case, we just want to your voice to be heard.  Each preselected person will answer the question with four sentences or less.  It's all about community, world wide.

The question is:

"In regards to the up and coming presidential elections, what issue should be the top priority for the next president?"

"The top priority for our next president is the economy.  People want to know that their money, that which they slave and work so hard for, is going to be there when they need it.  How will the government help it's people make and keep the little bit we got is the one issue that commands priority"

I believe that Obama's first priority once elected is to begin withdrawing the troops from IRAQ.

"Healthcare should be the top priority for our next president, because everyone should have affordable insurance.  Programs like Medicaid, Medicare, WIC, and other types of government assistance are just not enough.  People are living day to day financially and many can not afford to have seen a doctor. so they end up at the ER."
